The things causing a big buzz right now are alternative energy systems. It seems like everyone wants to have their own way to get renewable energy so that they can stop depending on electrical companies. Energy resources are valuable things and people seem to take this too lightly - you're not just saving money by switching to an alternative energy source - you're also helping to save the planet.
I'm sure most people know about the two main energy resources that are being applied by many home owners:

The potential of these alternative energy sources is absolutely staggering. Unfortunately you still can't make use of tidal energy unless you live on the ocean and have a LOT of money - maybe one day we'll be able to use it for personal power.
