"If my sons did not want wars, there would be none."

Gutle Schnaper died in 1849, she was the wife of Mayer Amschel Rothschild. Before her death she would nonchalantly state,

"If my sons did not want wars, there would be none."

Absolutely True - and there is much evidence that the CONTEXT was that she was bragging. Not warning or lamenting.
